Distant Promise - While I was defining the trees and the rock hedgerow, many childhood memories were brought back to me. I grew up in the country, and our small 3 acres had a hill at the back, and along it was a hedgerow much like this. My sisters and I would play for hours on the hill, climbing in the trees, running through the orchard Dad had planted. We would make pretend forts in the rock walls, parts of which had fallen over. It was an idyllic time, and I was a happy camper.
Actual artwork size is 30" x 22". Finished size is 40" x 32". Double matted, non-glare art glass, classic black frame.
