I was listening to a George Winston CD while doing finishing touches on this painting. I love the way George plays the piano, and he was playing Daisy Bell (1892 by Harry Dacre).
Daisy, Daisy. Give me your answer true.
I'm half crazy all for the love of you.
It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage.
But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two. (And on it goes.)
There it was, the title for this painting. Many fond memories of my Dad singing this song to Mom.
